Rashmika Mandanna, who was last seen in the Kannada film, Yajamana, will be joining the sets of Karthi's next with Remo fame Bakkiyaraj Kannan in the second schedule of the film's shoot on July 11. The film, which is said to have been titled Sultan, is expected to be an action drama with a smattering of humour.

Karthi, who recently wrapped up shooting for Kaithi, directed by Maanagaram fame Lokesh Kanagaraj, will also be joining Rashmika in the second schedule.The actor, who has started shooting for his Jeetu Joseph film, co-starring Jyothika, in Goa and Ooty, had earlier completed the first schedule of Sultan last month.

Bankrolled by SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures, Sultan, also starring Yogi Babu, will have music by Vivek - Mervin, cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan and editing by Ruben.

Meanwhile, Rashmika has Pogaru (Kannada) and Dear Comrade, Bheeshma (Telugu) in different stages of production.
