The director apparently made futile attempts to rope in Allu Arjun for the same film, before finally getting Havish on board

Filmmaker Lingusamy is all set to team up with Seven-fame Havish for an untitled Telugu-Tamil bilingual. Interestingly, the director has been planning to make his debut in Telugu for a long time and seems to have finally found a right script. Billed to be a road movie, the project will go on floors in August.

“Lingusamy pitched the storyline to Havish, who felt it has a universal appeal, and could cater to both Tamil and Telugu audiences. He readily agreed and the shoot will commence in the second week of August. Lingusamy previously made attempts to rope in Allu Arjun for the same film, but things never worked out. After making a few changes to the script, Havish is now on board,” informs a source.

Some of Lingusamy’s earlier films, such as Run, Sandakozhi, Paiyaa and Sandakozhi 2, were dubbed into Telugu and became hits in that language. A renowned production house is said to be bankrolling this film. The female lead and the rest of the cast are yet to be finalised.
