Patralekhaa, who made her Hindi film debut with Hansal Mehta’s CityLights in 2014, is all set to debut in Kannada cinema with Ganesh for an action comedy titled, Where Is My Kannadaka?

She confirmed the news in a statement, saying, “This is my first Kannada film and I am super excited to be working in it. While I can’t reveal about the role right now, I can definitely say that it’s the kind of role that I haven’t portrayed onscreen so far and that makes it special for me.”

Set in London, the film is expected to go on floors in April and is expected to be wrapped up by the end of May, with a release date tentatively set in the last quarter of this year. The film also marks the directorial debut of the husband-wife duo of Raaj and Damini, who have directed several television shows in Hindi as well as in Kannada.
