After Suriya recently wrapped up his portions in Selvaraghavan’s Nandha Gopala Kumaran aka NGK, Rakul Preet took to social media to announce that she has completed shooting for the much-awaited film, which also stars Sai Pallavi, Jagapathi Babu, and Ramkumar Ganesan. 

Rakul tweeted, "And it’s a wrap for NGK! What an amazing learning experience this has been with the genius Selvaraghavan sir and the most charismatic Suriya sir! Can’t wait for the madness to unfold!"

NGK, a political thriller, marks the first collaboration between Suriya and Selvaraghavan, and is bankrolled by SR Prabhu of Dream Warriors Pictures. With music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the film was originally slated to release on Diwali 2018. The teaser of the film will be released on February 14. 

Rakul will next be seen in the Rajath Ravishankar's debut directorial Dev. A romantic entertainer, the film will see Rakul sharing screen space with Karthi. Rakul tweeted, "And it’s a wrap for #NGK!
