The third song from Darshan-starrer Yajamana is out.  The track, Basanni, has lyrics by Yogaraj Bhat and is composed by Harikrishna. It may be recalled that so far, the duo’s songs have always ended up being chartbusters, and this number is expected to repeat the same magic. Bhatru and Harikrishna have created two songs, out of the five songs in the album.

This peppy number also reveals one of the key characters of the film, Basanni, played by Tanya Hope. The actor is the second female lead of the film, the first being Rashmika Mandanna.

Interestingly, this fast number is sung by the director and music composer, Harikrishna himself, with newcomer Varsha rendering the female vocals.

Bankrolled by Shylaja Nag and B Suresha under the banner Media House Productions, Yajamana is now awaiting certification from the censor board. The makers will announce the release date (likely to be in February) once the film clears the censor board. Thakur Anoop Singh plays the villain in Yajamana, while Dhananjay also appears in a pivotal role.
