Karthi, who was last in the news for joining hands with Maanagaram-director Lokesh Kanagaraj for an action thriller, has reportedly signed one more film with Bakkiyaraj Kannan, who made his directorial debut with Sivakarthikeyan's Remo. 

The yet-to-be-titled film will be bankrolled SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures.  The makers, who have kept the details of the project under wraps, are currently on the hunt for the cast and location for the film. 

Meanwhile, Karthi is currently awaiting the release of the romantic thriller Dev, directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar. The film's album, composed by Harris Jayaraj, has been well-received by the audience. Co-starring Rakul Preet, Prakash Raj, and Ramya Krishnan, Dev is slated to hit the screens on February 14.
