After Petta, Manikandan Achari has grabbed another opportunity to act with Vijay Sethupathi in Seenu Ramaswamy's upcoming film, Maamanithan. The Kammattipadam-actor posted a picture of himself with Seethakathi from the film's set. Both actors are seen wearing khaki-coloured driver's uniforms, which seems to confirm the speculation that Vijay Sethupathi plays an auto driver in the film.

Maamanithan stars Gayathrie S as the female lead with Imaikka Nodigal-fame Manasvi playing the daughter of the lead couple. Touted to be a rural drama, the film will have music by Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Manikandan, who shot to fame with the critically-acclaimed Malayalam film, Kammattipadam, made his Tamil debut with Petta. He was seen in three Malayalam films last year -- Carbon, Eeda, and Kayamkulam Kochunni. His next film will be Ripper, based on the life of serial killer Ripper Chandran.
