Director SS Rajamouli has resumed shooting for his next, tentatively titled RRR, with a new schedule on Monday. Confirming the news, the film's official Twitter page shared a picture and captioned it saying, "Back on the sets! The second schedule starts, today."

Produced by DVV Danayya, the film, set in the backdrop of the pre-Independence era, features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, while Tamil actor Samuthirakani plays a pivotal role.

"After a five-day sequence, the team will start filming crucial scenes with NTR and Ram Charan in a newly constructed set in the city (Hyderabad) for little over 15 days. The production unit is determined to wrap up the shoot by October to have enough time for post-production formalities. If everything goes as planned, the team is planning to release RRR during next Sankranti," informs a source.

The film shows NTR as a fierce warrior born into a Muslim family, while Ram Charan essays the role of a cop who works for the British. Vijayendra Prasad is providing the story for RRR, which has music by MM Keeravani. The female leads and other cast members are yet to be finalised.
