Yet another hero from Chiranjeevi's family has forayed into Telugu cinema. Panja Vaisshnav Tej, the nephew of the Megastar, is making his acting debut with a rustic love story. The untitled film was launched yesterday amid fanfare with the likes of Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Naga Babu, Varun Tej and Vaisshav's brother and actor, Sai Dharam Tej, gracing the event.

Buchi Babu Sana, a former protege of director Sukumar, is making his directorial debut with this village love story, which has music by Devi Sri Prasad. “It is a novel rustic story blended with a lot of interesting points. I am confident that Buchi Babu and his team will recreate the success of Rangasthalam with this film,” said Chiranjeevi.

Manisha Raj, who made her debut with the Sunil-starrer Two Countries, has been paired opposite Vaisshnav as the female lead. The makers have released the poster of the film which shows the debutant essaying the role of a fisherman.

Jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film’s principal shoot will commence in the first week of March.
