The shooting for Rajavardan-starrer Bichhugathii Chapter 1 - Dalavayi Dange is going on at full speed. Directed by Hari Santhosh, the film has the actor playing Baramanna Nayaka, the 15th-century Palegara. The team has completed 40 per cent of the shoot in two schedules, during which they managed to finish a major part of the climax. The makers plan to complete the film in four schedules, and the next one will begin in the first week of February. 

Bichhugathii, produced under the banner of Om Sai Krishna ​Production, is based on the novel written by BL Venu. With Prabhakar of Baahubali fame as the antagonist, the period drama stars Hariprriya as the female lead, with Rekha (of Sparsha fame) playing a mother’s role. The film also stars Kalyani, and almost all the senior actors of the Kannada industry like Srinivas Murthy and Dingri Nagaraj.

The film has music by Hamsalekha and cinematography by Guru Prashanth Rai.
