Mahat’s upcoming film with his fellow Bigg Boss contestant Aishwarya Dutta, has been titled Kettavanu per edutha nallavanda. Directed by Prabhu Ram C, the film will see Mahat play an ardent Simbu fan. The title is taken from one of Simbu’s older songs and Mahat is also seen sporting an STR tattoo on his arm.

In a statement, Prabhu says that the title has more to do with Mahat’s character while confirming that he will play a Simbu fan. “The title has more significance to the character that Mahat plays in this film. Mahat plays a freewheeling guy from North Chennai and his real-life equation with STR will add up an extra mileage to Mahat’s onscreen character,” he says further adding that the onscreen chemistry of Mahat and Aishwarya will be a major strength to the film.
