Actor Devadas, who started out as a child artiste 11 years ago with Vinayan’s Athisayan and Jayaraj’s Anandabhairavi, is making his debut as hero with PK Baburaj’s Kalkikoottukaar. 

Devadas’ father, actor Ramu (Bhasi Padikkal) has written the story, screenplay, and dialogues of the film and produced it under the banner of Devamrutham Cinema House. Filming was wrapped up recently. 

The 19-year-old Devadas is currently pursuing a BSc in filmmaking at the Whistling Woods International film school, Mumbai. Apart from Devadas, the film also stars Nidhi, Alwin, Jenson Jose, Sneha Sunoj, and Bhama in addition to Janardhanan, Salim Kumar, Kunjan, Renji Panicker, Indrans, Baiju, and Shammi Thilakan.
