Veteran actor Kishore Pradhan passes away at 86

Veteran actor Kishore Pradhan, best remembered for his roles in Jab We Met and Lage Raho Munna Bhai, passed away aged 86 in Mumbai today. He was a part of both Hindi and Marathi cinema throughout his career and was a noted theatre performer. His last appearance was in the Marathi film, Subh Lagna Savdhaan

Kishore Pradhan had acted in over 100 Marathi plays and done 18 plays in English. On the big screen, he was loved for his comedic appearances. He won critical acclaim for his roles in Lalbaug Parel and Mee Shivaji Raje Bhonsle Boltoy. His mimicry of veteran actors Johnny Walker and Jagdip deeply endeared him to his fans.
