Mahesh Babu, who was recently seen in the political action drama, Bharat Ane Nenu, has started shooting for the next schedule of his upcoming film, Maharshi.

A source closer to the actor reveals, "Mahesh Babu, who was seen celebrating his New Year in Dubai with his family and friends, has kick-started the shoot for the next schedule of Maharshi." 

The actor's effective portrayal of the chief minister in Bharat Ane Nenu is said to have brought an 106-year-old fan all the way from Rajahmundry to Ramoji Film City where the actor was shooting for Maharshi. 

Mahesh Babu will be essaying five different roles with five looks in Maharshi. The film also stars Pooja  Hegde and Allari Naresh. Veteran actor Jaya Pradha will be portraying a pivotal character in the film as well.

Maharshi is expected to be released later this year.
