Destination China for Team Yung Mung Sung

After going on floors in early 2017, Prabhudheva-starrer Yung Mung Sung is back in the news. The team of the film, directed by debutant filmmaker Arjun MS, recently flew to China to shoot a crucial schedule in the Tanglang region of Guangdong Province. Fight scenes involving Prabhudheva and Baahubali-fame Prabhakar, who plays the antagonist role, choreographed by stunt director Selva, were filmed in an expensive set there.

Set in the 80s, Yung Mung Sung also stars Lakshmi Menon in her comeback role after Rekka (2016). It also stars Thangar Bachan, RJ Balaji, Chitralakshmanan, Kali Venkat and Mushikanth. 

The film, based on kung fu and other martial arts, was shot in Kumbakonam, Pollachi, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka as well. Produced by KS Srinivasan and KS Sivaraman for Vasans Visual Ventures banner, cinematography and music are handled by RB Gurudev and Amresh, respectively.
