Underworld, director Arun Kumar Aravind’s follow-up to Kaattu, has been officially launched with a puja function. Touted to be an action thriller, the film, starring Asif Ali, Farhaan Faasil, Jean Paul Lal, Samyuktha Menon, and Ketaki Narayan, is expected to start rolling soon.

D14 Entertainments is bankrolling the project, which has been penned by Shibin Francis. Alex J Pulickal is handling the camera, while Yakzan Gary Pereira and Neha Nair are in charge of the music department.

Asif Ali had recently wrapped up debutant Dinjith Ayyathan’s Kakshi: Amminipilla, which is his upcoming release, aside from Nadirshah’s Mera Naam Shaji.
