Sivakarthikeyan, who recently celebrated his 34th birthday, has resumed shooting for director R Ravikumar's ambitious sci-fi project, co-starring Rakul Preet. The first image from the film's sets shows Siva, Rakul and the director, at a science-expo, with the head of a dinosaur in the background.

The Tamil-Telugu bilingual, touted to be a science-fiction fantasy involving aliens, boasts of a top-notch technical crew that includes AR Rahman, Nirav Shah, and T Muthuraj. Produced by 24 AM Studios, the untitled film, temporarily referred to as SK 14, also stars Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, Isha Gopikar, Bhanupriya, and Gothandam.

Sivakarthikeyan is awaiting the release of his romcom, Mr Local, directed by Rajesh, on May 1. He also has a yet-to-be-titled film with director Mithran in the pipeline. Meanwhile, the actor's second production venture, directed by Black Sheep YouTube channel-fame Karthik Venugopalan, and starring TV actor, Rio Raj, recently entered post-production.
