Rana Daggubati, who is currently awaiting the release of Mahanayakudu, the second part of the NTR biopic, will be seen next in a new Telugu film to be directed by Milind Rau of Aval fame. According to reports, this untitled film promises to show the actor in the challenging role of a vampire. 

"It will be a gripping, edge-of-the-seat thriller that shows Rana in a never-seen-before avatar. The script is unique and Rana, who likes to work in concept-driven films, was delighted to be a part of this project," says a source. 

Produced by Gopinath Achanta under Vishwa Shanti Pictures, the film's script has been locked and the team is planning to commence the principal shooting in August. The female lead and other details are yet to be finalised.

Meanwhile, Rana has his hands full with several Telugu films and a couple in other languages as well.
