Athiratha-director Mahesh Babu, who took time to begin his next, has decided to wield the megaphone for not one, but two projects.

The filmmaker, who is known for introducing newcomers to the industry, has chosen a techie, Sughosh, for one of these upcoming projects. The debutant has returned to India after completing his studies in the USA, in order to pursue a career in cinema. This film is currently rolling. The makers are on a hunt for a new heroine and will finalise someone in a week’s time.

Meanwhile, Mahesh will also be teaming up with actor Vinod Prabhakar for an action drama project, which he plans to start soon and work on simultaneously. The director will soon make an official announcement about the same.
