Anoop Menon’s maiden directorial, King Fish, went on floors recently, and the team is currently in the middle of filming the first schedule. Anoop will be also seen in front of the camera along with director Ranjith, as the film’s two main characters.

The first-look poster came with the tagline, ‘Country Roads... Take Me Home’ — a possible reference to the popular John Denver song. Durga Krishna, Niranjana Anoop, Dhanesh Anand, Renji Panicker, and Nandhu are part of the supporting cast. Deepak Vijayan is penning the lyrics, while Ratheesh Vegha is composing the music.

Amjith SK is producing this film under the banner of Texas Film Factory. Mahadevan Thampi, who previously served as a still photographer on several films, is making his debut as cinematographer with King Fish.
