Actor Srikanth continues to be a directors' favourite, both as a lead actor and for playing versatile roles. The 50-year-old actor will be now seen in a crucial role in a new movie titled Marshal.

Billed to be a crime-thriller, the film marks the debut of Abhay and Jai Raj Singh as an actor and director. respectively. "The film addresses the theme of surrogacy and shows Srikanth in a powerful role. It is a full-length role and his character is going to be one of the high points of the film," reveals a source. The film's shooting was completed recently and the post-production formalities are underway.

Also featuring Suman, Vinod Kumar, Prudhvi Raj and Saranya in supporting roles, Marshal has music by Varikuppala Yadagiri.
