Director Milind Rau, who made waves with his debut film Aval, is likely to helm Nayanthara's next. According to sources, the filmmaker is in talks with the Kolamavu Kokila actor and an official confirmation can be expected soon. This project is said to be produced by Vignesh Shivn, who previously directed Nayanthara in Naanum Rowdy Thaan.

Currently awaiting the release of Sarjun’s Airaa, Nayanthara also has several other projects in different stages of production. The actor, who recently finished shooting for director Rajesh’s Mr Local, which sees her reunite with Sivakarthikeyan after Velaikkaran, is expected to soon join the sets of Thalapathy 63, which has her sharing the screen with Vijay after a decade. She also has Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and the Nivin Pauly-starrer Love Action Drama in the pipeline.
