The shoot for Seenu Ramaswamy's Maamanithan, starring Vijay Sethupathi, was completed yesterday. The Dharmadurai director took to Twitter to announce the same. "It's a wrap for Maamanithan. All credit goes to my cast and crew for their effort and hard work. Eager to listen the songs and BGM from Isaignani for our canned visuals. Dubbing starts shortly," he wrote.

Maamanithan also has Gayathrie playing the female lead, while Guru Somasundran and Anikha of Viswasam fame appear in crucial roles. This project is Seenu Ramaswamy's fourth collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi after Thenmerku Paruvakaatru, Dharmadurai and the yet-to-be-released Idam Porul Eval. Yuvan Shankar Raja's second production venture after last year's Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, the film also marks the first time the Peranbu composer has joined hands with his father Ilaiyaraaja to compose for the film.

Meanwhile, Seenu Ramaswamy is awaiting the release of his film with Udhayanidhi Stalin, Kanne Kalaimaane, which is set to hit the screens later this month.
