The title and first look of Sivakarthikeyan's next, Mr Local were revealed last week. It has now come to light that the film's female lead, Nayanthara, has completed her portions for the film. The actor apparently presented watches to the entire cast and crew on her last day on the sets.

With YouTube-fame Harija said to be playing Sivakarthikeyan's sister, the film also features Radikaa, Sathish and Yogi Babu in supporting roles. The comedy entertainer, helmed by director Rajesh, has music by Hip-hop Tamizha and cinematography by Thaana Serndha Kootam-fame Dinesh Krishnan.

Though there have been many rumours that Mr Local is a remake of the Telugu film Nenu Local, a source close to the team has denied the news stating that the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer is a fresh script. 

Produced by Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green Productions, the film is expected to hit the screens this summer.
