The actor-director combo of Puneeth Rajkumar and Santhosh Ananddram, who gave the blockbuster hit Raajakumara, have already created a huge buzz with their second outing, Yuvaratna, even before it goes on floors.

Hombale Films, which is currently basking in the success of KGF, will be producing this film. Puneeth, whose Natasaarvabhouma is releasing this week, will start shooting for the Santhosh Ananddram-directorial from February 14. While there are a lot of speculations regarding the film’s heroine, a source tells us that Sayyeshaa will play the female lead. If all goes well, Yuvaratna will mark her debut in Kannada cinema. 

Sayyeshaa, the grandniece of actors Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu, started her film career in Telugu with Akhil. She also starred in the Hindi film Shivaay, and has appeared in several Tamil films. Sayyeshaa will next be seen in the KV Anand-directed Tamil film, Kaappan, where she co-stars with Suriya, Mohanlal and Arya.
