I am not Tom Cruise to release just one film a year: Santhanam

His Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 is gearing up for release next week

Dhilluku Dhuddu 2, starring Santhanam and Shritha Sivadas, is gearing up for release on February 7, and the crew of the film met the press to promote their film earlier today.

Speaking at the event, Santhanam said, "We observed that the last 20 minutes of Dhilluku Dhuddu was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. So, we wanted to make a sequel that they will enjoy from start to the finish. Unlike my previous films, which were heavily based on dialogue comedy, Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 will have a lot of slapstick comedy sequences."

He also quipped about the delay in the release of his films by saying, "I'm not Tom Cruise to act in one mega-budget film like Mission Impossible, and ask the audience to celebrate it for a year. The shooting of four of my films have been completed, we are just waiting for the right moment to release them."

Also starring Deepti, Rajendran, Bipin and Urvashi, the Rambhala directorial has music by Sagaa-fame Shabir and cinematography by Dipak Kumar Padhy.
