The release date of Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film, De De Pyaar De, has been pushed from March 15 to May 17. Produced by Luv Ranjan and directed by Akiv Ali, the romantic comedy stars Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh as the female leads.

Another Ajay Devgn-starrer Total Dhamaal, is scheduled for release on February 22, and thus the makers of De De Pyaar De have decided to release their film at a later date to avail more marketing time.

Ajay Devgn and Tabu have worked together in Vijaypath (1994), Haqeeqat (1995), Thakshak (1999), Drishyam (2015) and Golmaal Again (2017).

Produced by T-Series and Luv Films, De De Pyaar De has been shot in London and focuses on modern-day urban relationships. The title alludes to a Kishore Kumar song in the 1984 film, Sharaabi
