Catherine Tresa to play an IAS officer in NBK 106

Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, the Nandamuri Balakrishna-starrer is expected to go on floors on January 6

After playing an MLA in Sarrainodu, actor Catherine Tresa will be seen as an IAS officer next. A source in the know informs us that the 30-year-old actor is all set to play the civil servant in her upcoming film with Nandamuri Balakrishna. 

"Catherine will be essaying a strong female lead opposite Balakrishna. The story touches upon contemporary politics. Some portion of it revolves around elections and the political wars between parties with a dose of romance and action. Catherine is excited to play the part and will sign on the dotted line soon," says the source. 

Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, the film commonly referred to as NBK 106, is expected to go on floors on January 6. This will be Catherine's first collaboration with Balakrishna and second with Boyapati after Sarrainodu.

Besides this film, Catherine will also be seen in Vijay Deverakonda’s Valentine’s Day release, World Famous Lover.
