The first look poster of Siddharth's Takkar, directed by Karthik G Krish, who made Kappal, was launched today. The poster features a suit-clad Siddharth sporting a goatee, hinting that he might be a gangster or a hitman. 

Takkar marks the Tamil debut of Divyansha Kaushik, who was recently seen in the Telugu film, Majili. The film, which has music by Nivas Prasanna, has songs sung by Simbu and Sid Sriram.

Bankrolled by Passion Studios, which produced Vijay Sethupathi's Seethakathi, Takkar is said to be a blend of an action thriller and a romantic drama. The film is expected to hit the screens in February.

Apart from this film, Siddharth has Shankar's Indian 2 in his kitty.
