Pa Ranjith has announced that he will be producing five Tamil films under his banner, Neelam Productions, and will collaborate with Golden Ratio Films and Little Red Car on these ventures. These films will be directed by Merku Thodarchi Malai-fame Lenin Bharathi, Pariyerum Perumal-filmmaker Mari Selvaraj, Akiran Moses, Franklin Jacob, and Suresh Mari. 

Neelam Productions is teaming up with Little Red Car and Singapore-based porduction company Golden Ratio Films to produce the five films. 

Speaking today at an event hosted to make this announcement, Ranjith said that he looks at cinema as a reflection of politics. “I don’t believe in making art-house films. I want to make commercial films that showcase my ideologies,” said the Kaala maker, who also revealed that he has signed three films as a director with other companies.

While Mari Selvaraj will begin work on his Neelam Productions film after his project with Dhanush, the timelines for the rest of the films have not yet been revealed.
