We had previously reported that Siddharth is teaming up with director Karthik G Krish, who made Kappal. It's now known that the film has been titled Takkar. Jayam Ravi released the first look via Twitter today., and it shows a suit-clad man walking away from a car with a baseball bat in hand.

Takkar marks the Tamil debut of Divyansha Kaushik, who was recently seen in the Telugu film, Majili. The film, which has music by Nivas Prasanna, has songs sung by Simbu and Sid Sriram.

Bankrolled by Passion Studios, which produced Vijay Sethupathi's Seethakathi, the film is said to be a blend of an action thriller and a romantic drama.

Takkar is expected to hit the screens in February.
