We had earlier reported that Arun Vijay will be teaming up with his Kuttram 23 director Arivazhagan for an upcoming film. The project, bankrolled by Vijay Raghavendra, went on floors today. 

Tentatively referred to as AV 31, the spy thriller will also feature Regina Cassandra, debutante Stefy Patel, and Bhagavati Perumal in important roles.

“With Arun Vijay and Arivazhagan’s previous film, Kuttram 23 being greatly acclaimed by various regional industries, I am really proud to be associated with the blockbuster duo,” said the producer in a statement. 

AV 31 will have music by Sam CS and cinematography by Rajasekar. 

Meanwhile, Arun Vijay has Karthick Naren’s Mafia, Vivek’s Boxer, Moodar Koodam-fame Naveen's Agni Siragugal, and a film with Haridas-director GNR Kumaravel in the pipeline.
