After doing dramatic, performance-heavy roles in his last few films, Jayasurya is back in a mass avatar in Thrissur Pooram. The film will be hitting the screens on December 20. Ahead of the release, the makers have dropped the full trailer.

The footage gives us a good look at Jayasurya's character, a thug named Pullu Giri, in action-heavy mode. Amen-fame Swathi Reddy is playing Jayasurya's love interest. The makers recently released the first video song from the film, Sakhiyeee, a romantic track featuring the two.

Thrissur Pooram also has its producer Vijay Babu playing a police officer and Sudev Nair as a character with negative shades. We also get a glimpse of Jallikattu-actor Sabumon Abdusamad in a negative role.

The film has been directed by Rajesh Mohanan from a script by writer-musician Ratheesh Vega. Thrissur Pooram marks Ratheesh's maiden writing venture. It has cinematography by RD Rajashekar and editing by Deepu Joseph.
