John Abraham is planning to remake Jason Statham’s The Transporter in Hindi. According to a report, the actor has confirmed being in talks for the film, but refused to divulge further.

Released in 2002, The Transporter was an English-language French action drama featuring Statham in the role of Frank Martin, a former Special Air Service operative turned courier driver. Created by Luc Besson, the global blockbuster was extended into a franchise featuring two sequels, a reboot, and a television series. Ed Skrein portrayed Frank in the fourth Transporter film while Chris Vance essayed the character in the spin-off series. 

John Abraham was recently seen in Batla House. His upcoming release is Pagalpanti. The actor will also be seen Mumbai Saga, Satyameva Jayate 2, Attack, and 1911. Additionally, John is also expected to star in and produce a motorsports film, directed by Rensil D’Silva. 

Previous Jason Statham films to be remade/adapted in Hindi include Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (Phir Hera Pheri) and The Italian Job (Players).
