Shankar's Indian 2 went on floors again earlier this month after a break of several months due to unknown issues. The latest update on the project is that Kamal Haasan has joined the sets and has apparently stunned the crew with his new look, which is being closely guarded by the crew.

It is said that Kamal Haasan will shoot continuously for Indian 2, barring a couple of days a week, when he will be reporting to the sets of Bigg Boss Tamil 3, which he is hosting.

Scenes involving Rakul Preet, Siddharth, and Priya Bhavani Shankar have been shot so far in the present schedule of Indian 2, which is happening at Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh.

Produced by Lyca Productions, Indian 2 also stars Kajal Agarwal, Vidyut Jamwal, Vivek and Bobby Simha. The film, with music by Anirudh, is being planned as a Summer 2021 release.
