Regina Cassandra in talks in for Vishal’s next, Irumbuthirai 2

Regina Cassandra, who was recently seen in the bilingual Seven, has reportedly been roped in to play a key role in Irumbuthirai 2. The film, which is said to be a spiritual sequel to the first film, will star Vishal and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles.

While Irumbuthirai was helmed by PS Mithran, this project is being directed by Anand, who was an erstwhile assistant of filmmaker Ezhil. Details about the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be unveiled.

Meanwhile, Regina is currently basking in the success of her Telugu film Evaru. The Mr Chandramouli actor also has Party, Kallapart, and Kasada Thapara in the pipeline.

Vishal, on the other hand, has Action and Thupparivaalan 2 in the pipeline.
