Vijay Deverakonda, who has proved his mettle as a versatile actor, has recently announced his new production house named King of the Hill, which was meant to encourage new talent in the industry.

The Arjun Reddy actor took to Twitter to unveil his debut production's title and other details in a hilarious video on his micro-blogging page. Titled Meeku Maathrame Cheptha, the film marks the debut of director Tharun Bhascker Dhassyam as the lead actor. Interestingly, Vijay and Tharun Bhascker have worked together in National Award-winning film Pelli Choopulu (2016).

"I realize how hard and risky this production business is, but what is life without a challenge, so with most of my savings on the line I reveal to you, King Of The Hill's 1st Production Title!" tweeted Vijay.

While the other cast and crew are yet to be announced, we hear that Anasuya Bharadwaj has been approached for the female lead.

Meeku Maathrame Cheptha is expected to go on floors later this year.
