Sharwanand’s bilingual goes on floors

While Sharwanand will play the male lead, Pellichoopulu-fame Ritu Varma has been roped in to play the female lead

We had earlier reported that Sharwanand will be making a comeback in Tamil with a bilingual, produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. Now, the project has been officially launched, and the filming commenced yesterday. Producer SR Prabhu made the announcement on Twitter with a few pictures from the spot.

While Sharwanand will play the male lead, Pellichoopulu-fame Ritu Varma has been roped in to play the female lead. Nasser, Sathish, and Ramesh Thilak play supporting roles in this film, tentatively called Production 18. The yet-to-be-titled film is helmed by Shree Karthik, who is known for his short films Vyugam and Childhood diaries. Jakes Bejoy will be composing the music.

Sharwanand's last project in Tamil was Cheran's 2015 film, JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai. Ritu, on the other hand, was part of Dhanush’s VIP 2. She will also be seen in Dulquer Salmaan’s Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal and Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram.
