Puneeth Rajkumar, who is producing Maya Bazaar under his home banner, PRK Productions, is said to be appearing in a cameo role in the film as well. This project marks the directorial debut of Radhakrishna Reddy.

According to a source, Puneeth will be part of a song in Maya Bazaar. The actor, who is currently shooting for Santhosh Ananddram’s Yuvarathnaa, will set aside a couple of dates for the shooting of this song, which will be choreographed by A Harsha. 

Maya Bazaar consists of an interesting cast, including Raj B Shetty, Vasishta Simha, Prakash Raj, and Sudharani. Chaitra Rao, who became a household name on the small screen with the serial, Jodi Hakki, is also part of the film, and in fact, makes her silver screen debut with Maya Bazaar.

Except for the Puneeth song, the shooting has been completed and the film is now in the post-production stage. 

Maya Bazaar will be Puneeth's second production venture. His first was Hemanth M Rao’s Kavaludaari. After completing his current commitment with Yuvarathna, made under Hombale Films, the actor will work with director Chethan Kumar on his next project, James, produced by Kishore Pathikonda.
