Pritam to compose for Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha

The film is an official Hindi remake of Robert Zemeckis’ Forrest Gump

Pritam Chakraborty has come on board to compose the music of Aamir Khan’s upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is an official remake of Robet Zemeckis’ Forrest Gump. Pritam and Aamir have previously collaborated on Dangal and Dhoom 3

“Spent a few days in the picturesque Panchgani (in Maharashtra) with an amazing group of people working on the music of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. Coming back here and working is always so inspiring,” Pritam shared on Instagram. 

Laal Singh Chaddha is expected to go on floors in October this year and release in 2020. The comedy-drama will feature Aamir in the role of a Sikh man. Kareena Kapoor Khan plays the female lead in the film. The lyrics are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
