Mysskin, who last directed Thupparivalan (2017) - a Sherlock Holmes-style crime thriller - has apparently started work on the sequel to the film. 

Actor Prasanna, who played the character of Manohar, Vishal's friend and fellow detective, has updated on social media that the location scouting for Thupparivalan 2 has started, and that Mysskin is currently in London for the film's preproduction. He also shared a few pictures of Mysskin in The Sherlock Holmes Museum in London. 

Thupparivalan 2, which will again star Vishal as detective Kaniyan Poongundran, is produced by Vishal Film Factory. The film is expected to go on floors in September.

It's not known whether other members of the cast like Vinay, Bhagyaraj, Simran, Andrea Jeremiah, and Anu Emmanuel will be seen again in the sequel.
