Director Gautham Vasudev Menon, in a Ted Ex talk session held recently in Chennai, has revealed that the team is planning to release the long-delayed film, Enai Noki Paayum Thota, starring Dhanush and Megha Akash on September 6. 

The film, whose production began in March 2016, had its final schedule of shoot completed in  Mumbai and Pollachi in January, this year. The film was subsequently cleared by the censors with a U/A certificate in February.

Touted to be a romantic action thriller, the film also has Sasi Kumar and Rana Daggubati playing extended cameos.

In January 2017, GVM announced that the film's music director, whose identity was initially masked with the name Mr. X, was, in fact, Darbuka Shiva. 

Bankrolled by the Gautham's Ondraga Entertainment and Escape Artists Motion Pictures, the film 's cinematography has been handled by Jomon T John and Manoj Paramahamsa.
