Parineeti Chopra begins filming Bollywood adaptation of A Girl on the Train

The film will be directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, and feature Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari, and Avinash Tiwari in important roles.

Parineeti Chopra, who is awaiting the release of her upcoming film, Jabariya Jodi, has begun work on her next. The film, an official Hindi remake of the Hollywood thriller, The Girl on the Train, went on floors on Sunday.

Also titled The Girl on the Train, the Ribhu Dasgupta directorial also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari, and Avinash Tiwari in important roles. Set in the UK, Parineeti will be stepping into the shoes of Emily Blunt, who played the role of an alcoholic divorcee who finds herself in trouble after getting involved in a missing person's case.  

Announcing the start of his new film on social media, Dasgupta said, 

Bankrolled by Reliance Entertainment, the film is expected to release in 2020.
