Even as Ajith Kumar's Nerkonda Paarvai is gearing up for release on August 8, producer Boney Kapoor announced details about his next film. Once again teaming up with Ajith and director H Vinoth, Kapoor revealed that the film, tentatively titled, AK 60 will go on floors later this month. 

While details about the rest of the cast and crew for AK 60 was kept under wraps, it was widely speculated that the makers have roped in AR Rahman for the film. 

However, in a recent interview to The Hindu, the ace composer revealed that he couldn't take up the project due to his prior commitments. 

AK 60 is said to be an action entertainer, which is in a completely different genre compared to Nerkonda Paarvai, a remake of the Hindi film, Pink
