Oscar-winner Jared Leto is in talks to star alongside fellow Academy Award winners Denzel Washington and Rami Malek in a crime thriller, The Little Things.

The John Lee Hancock directorial is set in Kern County, where California Deputy Sheriff Deke (Washington) teams up with LASD detective (Malek) to catch a serial killer. Leto is in talks to play the antagonist.

Bankrolled by Mark Johnson, The Little Things will go on floors next month once Malek completes his shoot for Bond 25. 

Meanwhile, Leto is part of Sony's vampire film, Morbius, based on a Marvel comic book.
