Director-producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah on Friday announced an extensive slate of upcoming projects to be produced under his banner Blockbuster Movie Entertainers. These include feature films directed by Sankalp Reddy, Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, Deven Bhojani as well as Vipul’s own directorial.

Sankalp, who directed 2017 bilingual The Ghazi Attack, will be making a conspiracy thriller based on real events. Sanjay Singh’s film will be an action thriller, while Deven — who directed Vidyut Jammwal in Commando 2 — will helm an emotional story about a man and a dog. As for Vipul’s next, the Namaste England director will explore a new genre with the project. “All my films have tackled diverse genres. With my new film, I am yet again working in a genre I haven’t explored before,” he said.

On the digital front, Vipul will be producing two fiction web-series. One of them will be based on Gujarati writer Harkishan Mehta’s novel about the notorious 19th-century thug Amir Ali, who killed 719 people. The other will revolve around the issue of human drug trials and will be created by Mozez Singh.

“These films (and shows) have diverse stories and are made by talented filmmakers who have such unique voices. I am really excited to back these projects,” Vipul added.
