Director ARK Saravanan of Maragadha Naanayam fame will be doing his next film - an action thriller - under the Studio Green banner for KE Gnanavel Raja. The director, who had recently gone for location scouting in the Fiji Islands, had been in talks with several stars for this project.

Now, a source close to the unit says that Arya, who recently tied the knot with actor Sayyeshaa,  might be the director's final choice. "Studio Green share a very good rapport with Arya, and the actor is expected to sign on the dotted line soon. The pre-production works are currently in progress, and the film is expected to go on floors in June."

It's worth noting that Atharvaa Murali was earlier signed for this film in November, last year, following which the project had failed to take off. With Studio Green taking over the project now, an official announcement regarding the title and the other cast details is expected soon.

Arya is currently working on two Studio Green projects, Magamuni, directed by Mounaguru fame Santhakumar, and Teddy, directed by Tik Tik Tik fame Shakti Soundar Rajan. He's also awaiting the release of his film with Suriya, Kaappaan, on August 15.
