Sriram Raghavan’s 2018 comic thriller, AndhaDhun, has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the Chinese box office, becoming the third highest-grossing Indian film in China. The top two positions are occupied by Dangal and Secret Superstar, both starring Aamir Khan. 

Starring Ayushmann Khurrana as a visually-impaired pianist, AndhaDhun was released to critical and commercial success in India on October 5, 2018. The film also starred Radhika Apte and Tabu. Made on an estimated budget of Rs 32 crore, the crime comedy has collected over Rs 400 crore worldwide so far.

On April 21, in less than three weeks of its China release, AndhaDhun (released under the title Piano Player) overtook the lifetime business of Salman Khan-starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan to become the third highest Indian grosser in the neighbouring territory. Among its global competitors, the film presently holds the No 2 position at the China box office, between Hong Kong actioner P Storm and Hollywood animation film Wonder Park.
