Karthi had earlier told us that he and director Jeethu Joseph will be doing a Tamil film. Now we hear that Sathyaraj has joined the cast of this film, which also stars Jyotika. Said to be an emotional drama, it will reportedly feature the veteran actor as a father, with Jyotika and Karthi playing his children.

Karthi currently has Kaithi, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj; a film with director Bakkiyaraj Kannan of Remo  fame; and one with his Kadaikutty Singam director Pandiraj, while Jyotika has a project with Gulebaghavali-fame Kalyan, and one with JJ Fredrick, who previously assisted Manithan-director Ahmed.

This will be Jeethu Joseph’s second Tamil directorial after Papanasam. Scripted by Jeethu, Rensil D’Silva, and Manikandan, it is expected to go on floors today.
