As reported earlier by Cinema Express, actor Samantha Akkineni, who is basking in the success of Majili, will soon be seen in a crucial cameo in her father-in-law and actor Nagarjuna’s Manmadhudu 2. The U-Turn actor has finally confirmed her cameo in the film during her recent interaction with the media.

Without divulging any details about her character, she said, “I’m playing an interesting extended cameo in Manmadhudu 2. I can’t reveal anything about what am I up to in the film, but can vouch that it’s going to be an important character in the story. I’m excited to start the proceedings.”

Directed by Rahul Ravindran, the film also features Rakul Preet and Payal Rajput as female leads. The first schedule of the film has been wrapped up and the second schedule is currently underway in Portugal. Also starring Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh and Nasser in crucial roles, Manmadhudu 2 has music by Chaitan Bharadwaj of RX100 fame.
